Can Claude make music?

Claude writes the parts; the skill supplies the tools that turn them into files.
Can Claude control Ableton Live?
SessionCraft connects your agent to Ableton Live 11 or later through an MCP server, so it can create tracks, MIDI clips, drums, bass and arrangements and adjust the mix inside your open Live set.
Do I need a GPU to generate songs?
Only for SongHarbor, which runs ACE-Step 1.5 on your own GPU. ChordCanvas and LoopGarden write MIDI and need no GPU; Lyric Music Video renders on your machine with Node and FFmpeg.
How do I install a music skill in Claude Code?
Open the skill, copy its install command (skillgild install <slug> --agent claude-code) and run it. Hosted installs handle sign-in and agent connection automatically. Community skills are cloned from their public repository into ~/.claude/skills/; hosted skills get a small wrapper and run through the SkillGild MCP server. Use --agent codex, cursor or gemini-cli for other clients.
